Naming and brand design to create personality for a startup business.

We were approached to provide the naming and branding foundations for a workplace consultancy startup. What became immediately apparent was the strong corporatisation and ‘me too’ attitude of many competitors in the industry. With all touting their ability to improve employee engagement and culture, most sounded somewhat stale and frankly, boring.

The naming was a chance to show some personality and therefore create something more memorable. People are more likely to remember a name that's interesting, and in turn, remember the person behind it.

 
 
 

The Workology Co branding direction is a mix of science and playfulness, directly hinting at what the company practices. A clean and simple typographic approach to the logo brings the personality of the name to the fore. Combined with a tagline that’s bold and contrasting in character, the branding foundations were set for Workology Co to thrust itself into the market.
